Farzana Mohamedali

Farz learned how to sail taking summer camps when she was in elementary school in Olympia, WA. In her sophomore year of high school, she found out there was a conglomerate high school sailing team through Olympia Yacht Club so she joined the team and has been racing dinghies since she was 15, learned how to crew and skipper, and attended a variety of regattas in the northwest. She started school at UW in 2016 and joined the UW team right away, becoming a competitive crew and racing in multiple national events. Since graduating, she has joined the Tasar fleet at CYC and has been practicing weekly in the summers with them, and competing at various regattas including North Americans and Nationals.
