Brian Thomas

Brian has been a lifelong sailor and Seattle resident, beginning his sailing life at Seattle Yacht Club in the junior program. He found his way onto the UofW sailing team where he was named to the All American squad in 1977. A business career as co-owner of the boatbuilding firm Kvichak Marine kept him busy until his recent retirement in 2016. Brian currently races J24’s and J70’s and was tactician aboard the 2019 World Championship J24 team.  He enjoys giving back to the Husky Sailing Team and is excited to be involved with the Husky Sailing Foundation as its first President.
